Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your GridSpell account and the game data linked to it. You don’t need to have the game installed to make a request.
Send us a request
- Open GridSpell Support and choose Account or data request, or email hello@playgridspell.com.
- Tell us whether you want your account and related game data deleted, or a specific type of data, such as analytics.
- Include your Player ID if you have it, along with the sign-in method you used. If you can’t access the game or find your ID, contact us anyway and we’ll help you identify the account.
We may ask you to verify that the account is yours. Never send a password, sign-in code, or session token. GameGrind aims to complete verified requests within 30 days unless applicable law allows or requires a different period.
What we delete
An account deletion request covers your Unity Authentication player record and the linked GridSpell data we control. This includes applicable campaign progress, journal entries, words found, stickers, rewards, and other account records. We also handle applicable analytics and Unity Diagnostics deletion requests, which can require separate provider procedures or identifiers.
Deleting your account may permanently remove your progress and collection. It cannot be undone.
What may need to stay
Some purchase or other records may need to be kept for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes. We’ll explain any applicable exception when handling your request. We generally keep support correspondence for up to 24 months after a request is closed. Information already made anonymous may remain.
Connected accounts and purchases
Deleting GridSpell data does not delete your Google account, Play Games profile, Apple Account, or Game Center profile. Those are managed through Google or Apple.
If you use a separate Unity Player Account, manage it through Unity’s player account portal. Deleting that account alone does not automatically delete every GridSpell record.
Account deletion does not cancel or refund a purchase. Contact Google Play or the App Store for store purchase and refund requests.
Read the Privacy Policy for more about the information we use and how long we keep it.
